About

Competing with your instructor in ProAm means participating in a dance competition where you, as an amateur dancer, partner with your professional dance instructor and compete against other student-instructor pairs. From a competition standpoint, the focus is primarily on judging your performance as the amateur dancer, while your instructor assists you in executing the routine to the best of your ability! You'll schedule private lessons with Reisa to work on a choreographed routine or multiple routines, as well as technique and styling. At your chosen event, you'll schedule practice time to continue preparing for your competition round(s). Costs include private lessons with Reisa, competition entry fees, and a portion of Reisa's travel and lodging expenses, shared with other students.
