You’ve always wanted to learn Country Western Two Step! Take this class to learn introductory level patterns and the techniques that make them easy to lead and follow on the dance floor. Learn essential basics, as well as turn, wrap, and sweetheart patterns. Through the use of frame and connection, learn to lead & follow these patterns socially. 6:30 - 8:00p Beginner/Newcomer/Fundamental Country Western Two Step 8:00 - 8:30p Music, Practice, & Questions What is the cost and how do I register? The class will be held on Friday nights, 6:30p to 8:00p for four weeks, February 7th - 28th. The cost for the entire four-week session is $50 per person with preregistration, or $65 at the door. (The discount applies if you preregister prior to the first class and submit payment online or by mail, postmarked by 1/31/25.) Do I need a partner? It is not necessary to sign up with a partner, as Reisa will rotate the class often, ensuring everyone gets to dance with a variety of partners. What kind of shoes should I bring? To help protect and preserve our beautiful town hall floor, please bring a different pair of shoes to wear, other than the street shoes you wear into the building. The best shoes for dancing should be comfortable, with a leather or suede sole. Cowboy boots or dress shoes are good, if the leather soles are not overly slippery. Bowling shoes with suede soles are ideal. Of course, dance boots, heels, or dress shoes, made with suede soles for dancing, are perfect, too! How to I register? - To preregister and pay online, select 'More Information' below and follow the prompts. - To preregister for $$ savings, complete and mail a registration form with payment prior to 1/31/25. Please complete the registration form in advance and arrive 15 - 20 minutes early, to ensure your paperwork and check-in are complete prior to the start of class.
