EdanSe Company & Ballroom offers an exciting opportunity to learn from professional instructor, Reisa Alexander, who boasts over forty competitive dance titles in country western, west coast swing, and hustle. With a victory at the 2005 Chicago Professional Hustle Championship, experience teaching at the World Hustle Dance Championships, and competing at ProAm hustle events with students, Reisa brings a wealth of expertise to her contemporary, open style of hustle. Join Reisa at EdanSe in February to elevate your dance skills and experience a class filled with energy and passion for hustle dance and music! 11:00a - 12:00p Newcomer Hustle: You’ve always wanted to dance Hustle! Join Reisa and learn introductory-level hustle patterns, along with styling and techniques essential to the look and feel of this fun dance! These introductory techniques and patterns will give you enough experience and material to enjoy going out for a night of disco! (This class is suitable for beginning level dancers only.) 1:00p - 2:00p Hustle Fundamentals: Focus on mastering the fundamental techniques and patterns essential for progressing to intermediate and advanced levels. With a strong emphasis on leading and following with a light connection, dancers will learn to move effortlessly to fast music and delve into hustle arm styling for both leaders and followers. (This class is perfect for all levels). 2:30p - 3:30p Intermediate Hustle: Learn intermediate-level wrap and turn, as well as traveling and shadow patterns unique to hustle. Learn a variety of performance options for these patterns, with arm styling, shaping, posturing (for leaders), and attitude! 4:00p - 5:00p Intermediate/Advanced Hustle: Continue to elevate your skills with more advanced, high-energy, and flashy traveling and turning patterns, along with advanced styling and footwork variations.
